Description

Technical information
The Periquito is the first official mascot of Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras. The records became more evident, appearing in the 40's, shortly after Brazil's entry into World War II, when the club changed its name to Palmeiras. Periquito gained strength among fans and journalists at the time, reinforcing the phrase "who knows how to be Brazilian" in the anthem and becoming the club's symbol.
